Now what do you think happens to a town when a company who hired the majority of people in it goes bankrupt? Everyone shares being broke, except form the big wigs, of course.

Debt is passed on to US, not the government or the banks, they don’t suffer, we do.

Governments need it to be real because they borrow the most money. If they defaulted then their cash flow would dry up and it would be really hard for them to continue with their vote buying programs.
