Nothing is stopping you.
Here's what I did.
>dropped out of social circles
>quit my job
>moved in with family, declared them my house goys
That's it.
I haven't left the house in a year.
I'm in 1990, except for the porn and 4chan I'm basically an unfathomably rich kid from 1990 and there's nothing anyone can do to stop it.

It's the Kabayashi Maru.
You win in an unwinnable scenario by altering the parameters.

Yeah, ever since I started permanent 90s mode in my house I've realized you don't really need anything after 2000, 2010 at the latest.
All the best vidya came out in the 90s everything from Fallout 1 and 2 to Earthbound etc etc.
Solid gold everything.

Millennium (1989) is a pretty good film. The future is bleak and people are dying out, infertile. So they travel back in time and enter aircraft that are about to crash with all passengers killed and replace the bodies with copies of the victims and take the people with them to the future.

Hard to tell if life was better then or if I was just younger and the harsh reality of life choices and consequences hadn’t set in yet

Life was better.
Capitalism ruined gaming, music, movies, tv, everything since then.

For me as a young adult starting adult life right at the very early 00's it was already feeling like somethnig was off, like plastic culture, very vapid and superficial, I don't have any nostalgia from past 98 even living my adult life through the 00's and up till now end up watching and listen music that I was either way to young to listem or not even born yet

Vidya started being good in 1991
and stopped being good around 2010 (oblivion's dlc horse armor).
So basically culture died when you were 10 years old save for a very few rare exceptions.

I liked the general optimism back in the late 90's, early 2000's. Was pretty comfy. I wonder if in 10-15 years time how will we look back on current times.

Post 9/11 for like 6 months was so comfy
>school was basically just pro American nonsense that didn’t require actual learning
>everyone getting along
>didn’t have to hear about niggers in the news constantly because it was always about 9/11
