About eight years ago I used to still play these open world vidya. I always liked the mechanics where you could build stuff and all.

Then I realized at some point you can literally go outside and actually build shit for real, improve your property, use heavy equipment, etc etc. And it's not a bunch of little numbers in a computer- it's real. This time of year I will go mark hardwood seedlings I want and various shrubs collect seeds from grasses and weeds etc. When we get into the fall I will go back out and dig them up the seedlings and transplant them around the house.
