They were not only comically evil they were unforgivably evil. Germans like General Dietrich von Choltitz, defied the politburo and Hitler in their Order to burn Paris to the ground.
But the Japanese still burned Manila to the ground even after it was declared an Open City.
I may understand it's war but Japan was especially evil for destroying the irreplaceble intangible heritage of Manila.
They burned Ermita to the ground the only town established by Mexicans in Asia.
They bombarded Cavite City which housed Manila Galleons, the first Ships to cross to the Americas from Asia.
They burned Intramuros which housed priceless relics from the Spanish era and precolonial periods.
They also destroyed the oldest Steel Bridge in Asia
And the First Terminal of the Oldest Airline Company in Asia, Philippine Airlines.
All located in Manila; the Japanese had no regard to the loss of priceless cultural treasures from not only Filipinos but on the whole of humanity when they looted and pillaged Manila to ruins.
No matter how many times Japan apologizes anr bribes us today, they will forever be responsible for destroying the priceless and irreplacable heritage of Filipinos and Mankind.
Death To Japan is a victory for justice.
