Why are there so many "Christian" Right wingers obsessed with anime and Japan? Almost all anime is pagan or secular. I'm sure you can find one anime out of 1000 that is actually based and Christian. But its more secular than not.

Because both weeaboos and christcucks are effeminate manchildren with Peter Pan Syndrome, so it makes sense that there is a lot of overlap between them.

Ever read Joseph Campbell? Every religion on earth has commonalities.
In addition to that: Constantine.
Christianity was Constantine's attempt at creating a universal religion out of Mithraism, Judaisim, and Christianity plus any other pagan groups in rome at the time.
Thus the name Catholicism meaning "univsersal"
So because every religion on earth promotes the same virtues and shuns the same vices a Christian right winger can root for a Japanese morality tale.
Particularly because Japan still takes morality more seriously than in the west.
Also no Jews in the credits of anime.
