I was shopping at Costco, and i politely asked a worker (in English) at the store (looks just like photo) where to find “cookies”, he asks which cookies, I say “chip oh ahoy” cookies, and he points me in the direction.

As i am walking away, the guy points a finger at me asking me to come back (don’t know why i even listened), and as i am around 10 feet away he yells “do you want Indian cookies”. I smirk and say no.

Now, i am a indian born in Canada but i look arab/iran. This thing ruined my day. Its sort of ridiculous he asked if i was looking for indian cookies, considering we live in canada. And i didnt even ask him anything like that, i simply asked where to find the cookies, and said a common american brand when asked which type of cookie i was looking for.
