Its because christians are taught that they are morally superior to everyone else merely by being christians. That gives them the ability to virtue signal how morally superior they are in front of other christians. My great, great grandfather was a radical protestant who lived in the Weimar Republic and was kicked out of Germany by Hitler but not for the reasons this 'pastor' says.
