Machine learning is a consequence of the scientific method which is a consequence of rationality. Constitutionalism is based on rationality. Rationality is something to the human experience.
The industrial revolution and mass output are following the sequence and if there is anything divine about rationality then rationality is good and the utopia visions everyone has is part of the entire process and the Utopic result wanted is a good thing

If there is full automation, and the elites get to continue owning everything, then UBI can easily become 'paid poverty'. It's a real hazard.

As a way to keep an economy and a society functional during conditions where fewer workers are needed, UBI is vital. If it could be done by paying the fewer workers significantly more (literally thousands of times more), and then they trickle it down to everyone else because they're embedded in their real family and an organic human community, that would be ideal. Capitalism has already fucked that system, so UBI can help put it right.
