The public perception of the party ideology is that it’s an overtly anti-American, anti-Western party. Ever since they shafted Bernie Sanders nobody even believes these people are actually socialists despite their rhetoric. The whole game is just “America bad”, which is quite obviously unpopular. They have no actual policy prescriptions to improve the lives of Americans and their rhetoric doesn’t even try to present themselves as champions of all Americans. They speak openly about being for this or that non-American group over Americans writ large. Kamala’s campaign slogan is one that implied the deconstruction of American identity. All this is deeply unpopular among Americans of all stripes actually, at least when there is an alternative who is promising them the same sort of gain they might otherwise have with a socialist power grab. The brown people working at gas stations and in utility companies don’t actually give a shit about this quasi-academic rhetoric about decolonialism or whatever. They just want fucking money. They’ll side with whoever promises them more money with a veneer status and normalcy. Trump offers that. Trump’s greatest weapon is not just that he appeals to the white middle and working classes. It’s that he appeals to the brown middle and working classes, especially the men, who like it or not, now form the backbone of this country’s civic body. The Democrats meanwhile have become strictly a party of a performative bourgeoisie. It’s about white middle class leftists and their brown college educated pets doing a song and dance about America bad, and that’s just not popular with American citizens. You see it with Zohran Mohammed. Look at who is popular with. It’s bourgeois white liberals only. So they don’t have anything that appeals to the core voter broadly, just a very small exclusive bourgeois elite that is too disconnected from the American people to care about them at all let alone know what they want.

People severely underestimate the degree to which Trump is THE GUY not only because he appeals to flyover Americans, guys who drive truck and drink Black Rifle Coffee or work as a wealth manager in the suburbs, but also because he is the most black-coded white man we have ever had in office. This is a guy that was featured in rap songs for decades. This is a guy that has the aesthetic tastes of Baby Birdman and Rick Ross. This is a guy who walks and talks with an uneducated swagger that we really only see in the black community. Blacks look at guys like Brandon Johnson and despite all his rhetoric about being pro-black, they see a guy that is far too educated, far too intellectual, and far too buttoned up to really sympathize with. Black Americans like machismo, they like grandiosity, they like frank mannerisms and speech, they like the style that comes with this. Democrats, even though they’re blacker than ever, don’t have any of this anymore. Trump appeals to middle and working class whites, black men, (these two form the American core), now Jews, and Hispanic men as well. Men form the political backbone of every society by default and Trump appeals to all American men more than any other guy in history. Black men like him more than they like Obama ffs. This is what Democrats don’t get and why they can’t win. To be an Democrat demands a level of over-educated intellectualism that just doesn’t appeal to mainstream Americans of any race.
