Do you think that something that has reliably provided life for our entire species for eons and that is entirely outside our control might be more significant than a written character that relies on human will and words to exist? One thing came before the other, and there is only one Sun in this solar system. And I'm sure that it will be asked, but the reason why this Sun is obviously significant compared to any other random star is because it has fostered and created not only the miracle of life but the miracle within that miracle of human consciousness. I like the Moon more because I usually sleep during the day (4-6 am to 5-7 pm) and because the Sumerians worshipped a lunar deity over a solar one unlike the Egyptians.
