The first house I bought, the builder fucked up the pricing, and in order to ho or the price they quoted me, and some other things they fucked up on, the president made me sign an NDA:

Builder told me to get bent
I swallowed my principles and literally felt sick to.my stomach sending the signed NDA over

I warrantied it for two years.
Saw the letters and checks they sent to other people whose homes they but and fucked up

That was my neighbor.
She pushed for them to fix the floor.
The floor people made it worse, before it finally got better - the whole second floor dining/kitchen/living area was finally replaced & by a different flooring company.
Yeah when you leave a job they can ask you to sign an NDA as a term of severance.
Thing is, sometimes NDAs hold no power.
I told the truth a out the building company in a Google review, pictures and all the details.
That the NDA exists as well.
Either the builder can prosecute me, which proves my point, or, they keep they can say I'm a liar, at which point I could present the NDA
regardless, the point is to let others be aware of the shitty quality work for a brand new home
so the builder hopefully goes out of business and stops getting to rip people off
or
starts providing quality builds - quality meaning minimum standard at least
