Australia post has suspended all parcels to the US as well.
The US used to receive 4 million parcels a day from overseas, that's going to drop to almast zilch. It represents billions of dollars in trade.

The problem is much worse than your screenshot shows:

I don't follow your daily retardation, so if I'm getting it wrong, explain it to me, like I'm stupid, but able to learn. US flip flops around with tarrifs, people don't know how much to pay up, so they wait. What did I get wrong?

Okay real question how does this affect me? Like it isn’t rhetorical, I’m genuinely wondering the impact if any this will have on me. Does this apply just to letters or all packages in general? When I order stuff from oversees will that be affected? Are there alternatives? Genuine questions because I have no idea what this really means

It's worse than that, de minimis meant that parcels under $800 US weren't subject to any duties, most nations have this, Australia is 1K AUD, it just means that the government isn't prepared to tax minutia, allowing people to trade freely in low value goods, like auto parts, Chinese stuff. Trump ended it for the US, first for China in April or May and now the whole world, it wasn't supposed to end until 2027 but Trump brought it forward and now no one knows who is supposed to collect the duties that are all over the place as well depending on what Tariffs your nation is under. It's a complete fuckup. Trump has obviously appointed some crony company run by one of his Jew mafia friends to collect the duties on some kind of kickback but they have completely dropped the ball.

If you buy things from overseas for your business or a hobby or whatever it is now subject to duties. Only personal mail and things like gifts under $100 are exempt, except even that is unclear.
From Australia at 10% it's $180 tax on anything imported, from most of Europe it's $200. So if you order some parts for your BMW it will be the price of the parts plus $200.
