Oh maybe I'll post one on topic reply. Christianity isn't the only symbolic system for spirtual reality with a devil like character. Buddhists have Mara, Zoroastrians have Ahriman, I'm sure other (inferior) religions have more devil characters. Chistianty, Buddhism, and Zoroastrianism are basically the only ones which emphasize and directly address how critical morality is, and aknowledge that humans have a flawed and sinful side that destroys when left unchecked. With that said, I generally agree with the concepts all three point to and share in common, but I can't really be fucked to take all their symbolic and superficial differences in culture and dogma literally.

Being in the world but not of the world is good. Do good, not evil, renounce the world and all that is evil. You won't get anywhere in life without some form of meditation and/or prayer. Gratitude is important. Inner peace is important. Realize/have faith that everything is already as it should be. Universal unconditional love and compassion is the highest and most god like virtue one can aspire to embody. Your soul will be judged fairly upon death. God knows what is in your heart and will judge you as you judge others and so on. Etc. The important parts all the same when you actually understand which parts are important and which parts are simply cultural, worldly historical trivia, superficial symbolism/language/framing etc. It really doesn't need to be that complicated though. If you truly and fully understand "love god, love thy neighbor" you already have everything you need.
