Deadly 'Wet-Bulb' Temperatures Are Smothering the Eastern U.S.

By Ellyn Lapointe

This National Weather Service (NWS) map shows the projected wet-bulb globe temperatures (WBGT) for Wednesday, July 30 at 3:00 p.m. ET. Areas in red can expect to see "high" WBGT conditions, and areas in grey can expect "extreme" conditions National Weather Service/ESRI

That's bad news for human health.

Isn't it odd that all of the sudden ALL weather monitoring agencies switched to a method of measuring the temperature that is guaranteed to provide a higher average?

anyone who lives in the south knows this
you drive through town when its raining on an especially hot day
you see bodies littered on the ground
you can't turn off your car's AC, because if you do, you die
and if wet bulb exceeds 100, AC is not capable of functioning
effectively the AC dies
and guess what happens to you if that happens
