UBI will be possible when we have drones and robots capable of doing most manual labor, with resource allocation managed by a benevolent AI. I dont expect tech billionaires to allow such a transition though, at least not easily.

UBI is only possible in a country with strict controls over its borders and heavy handed laws and restrictions against hiring foreign labor of any sort.
It would also need a country willing and able to do strict regulation around the price of rent and real estate. Also a country willing and able to smack the ever living fuck out of any company arbitrarily raising prices on goods.

There are other requirements but we can stop here because none of the first 3 will ever be met in a Western country AND if all 3 were met you wouldn't NEED UBI in the first place.

A smart person asks further questions. How is money created in this UBI system? Are jews running it? How to handle inflation if your UBI recipients are not working? Are robots doing all the work? Then who works to mantain them? Since they're doing work and others not, does that mean they robot mantainers become uber rich? What does being rich mean in a society of abundance? etc etc etc etc
