>Geography
>Population density
Let's take the U.S for example:

The reason why Eastern Europe is struggling is because of its flat terrain, yeah it's perfect for civilization building but also a curse which gave invaders easy access (Mongols, Nazi Germans, Soviets) Nazi Germany destroyed all of its Eastern captured territories which made it easy for the soviets to take control of the entire area.

sometimes you would see 2 nation whit the same geography , but their peaples culture is completely different , like north and south korea , the reason is cultural difference , while south korea has aimed to a more freedom individualistic western way of living , the north under kim jong un did the complete opposite

Actually wrong, North Korea is mountainous and the south is plain, the north used to be richer and more industrialized than the south which relied on agriculture, then tables turned to the capitalist south, neighboring China sucked for the North which made them dictatorial.
