Dezi Freeman made a statement around 3 hours ago which offered a deal to Police.
He says he wants to meet with the Police Comissioner face to face. He wants both men to put their guns down on the floor then counting down from 3 both men will apologise at the same time.
He says he doesn't want to escalate the political temperature in Australia and if Police do a "Welcome to country" then the deal is off.
