Most Ukrainians actually are quite oblivious to the whole UPA thing. Ukraine isn't a monolith. It's a spectrum. Most people do not even know much about their country history and majority of Ukrainians here are russophones. They have more of Russian/Soviet culture than the Bandera nationalist culture known for western Ukraine.
