>the performative christianity of the American right is a constant mockery of god.
True. Although the left does the same thing. Look at Biden or Obama for examples. None of them are Christian. It's just playing politics for them by pandering to the prevailing religion. When you dig in, they don't actually believe a word of it. They make up their own gospel if they even bother. It's just an excuse to further their political goals.
>chantards pretending to be "christians" is likewise a mockery.
Only the ones pretending. A Christian is someone who has been born again, which occurs the moment we believe the gospel. The gospel is the substitutionary death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of all our sin and for our justification before God. Salvation is the free gift of God's grace which we receive through faith in Jesus and His finished work alone. It is not about our performance. Posting on /pol/ does not mean you aren't a Christian, nor is trolling, et. al. A true Christian knows the gospel and will share it. But we all sin daily still, even if "minor". That is why we need Jesus as our Savior -- it is impossible to save ourselves no matter how many good works we do.
Do you believe this, memeflag? Or are you here to mock Christians and therefore mock God too? All who have been born again have the Holy Spirit living inside us.
