That's not how it happened. Roma came to Ireland and Britain but were bleached so they look white. The cultural Roma traits stayed in unfortunately.

Irish travlers were displaced gaelic workers from the before englands conquest drasticslly changed land useage. Gaelic society was based on pastoralism. The english evicted them when they began awarding land tenures after cromwells conquest. They had no interest in urbanization or the king of england and became a nomadic people. Their only loyalty is to their clan.

Centuries later they still gontheir own way. They hate the king of england, they are devout christrias, and they love bare knuckle boxing. Tyson furry is a travler and he destroys negros for money.

Of all the things Gyppos are, they’ve never struck me as particularly republican. They are probably the only group of people in Europe to be entirely apolitical. It doesn’t bother them what is happening politically, at all. Their only gripe with England would be Cromwell, and even a mutt such as yourself would grasp why that wouldn’t be one with the monarchy
