Reminder that 1 retard with a 300 dollar rifle clapped 3 mounties and injured 2 others.

There are ~72k police officers across the entire country.
If we only count legal gun owners, there are ~2.5 million. If we include people with lapsed licenses or who never got a license to begin with, that number more than doubles.
A firearm confiscation program is simply not possible. All police officers will end up dead before you even make a dent.

I don't want to hurt police officers. We need the police to maintain public order in our society. Here in small town America, the police are literally your neighbors and a part of the community. The local cops live in houses just like mine, one has a punisher logo on his mailbox lol.

A man in Ontario was awoken at 03:00 in the morning by a man armed with a crossbow breaking into his home. He confronted the intruder, giving him a potentially lethal wound and the police CHARGED HIM with aggravated assault.

This is the standard in Canada.
You get victimized by the home invader.
Then you get victimized by the police.
Then the prosecutor victimizes you for months and months and months.
Your job gets fucked. Your relationships get fucked. Your wallet gets SUPER fucked.
They use the process as the punishment.
If you actually fight in court to win instead of taking their plea deals (which include banning firearm ownership, of course), then they drop the case JUST before the judge renders a verdict that could be cited in future cases.

Door-to-door bullshit is also likely to get pro-US interests in general agitating for provincial independence, in this political environment. Would turn into repressive clusterfuck, suddenly the rhetoric will shift that Canada is turning into a totalitarian state, with evidence of things and conduct normal in America having people facing felony-level arrest in Canada on display.
It would be almost too easy to cook up excuses for intervention.

I was born a few towns away, I have a bit of information regarding how dirty the cops in the area are.

https://www.ctvnews.ca/atlantic/article/2-charged-with-drug-trafficking-in-amherst-police/

This is a retired cop who sold my grandfather handguns he "found" in the police lockup, on-top of distributing drugs and importing them with a wink and a nod from the boys in blue.

25-30% of the kids I went to school with are dead,

Justin Bourque is a hero.
Justin Borque did nothing wrong.

I've detailed other instances on here before, on-top of one of the APD selling meth/speed when he was taking courses to be a police officer.

I don't think you understand how dirty maratime cops are.

Due to numerous mishandling of sexual assault cases, and repeated failures in this regard NS cops aren't allowed to investigate cases in NS, they have to get NB cops to do it.

There's numerous instances of this in small towns where who you are determines if you get your head slammed or they look the other way.
I was targeted by them based on who my family members are when I was a Kid, so while I personally don't have anything against Horse Gestapo, Or Canadian cops, fuck yeah Justin did the right thing.

He's a hero to those who know what the cruiser door and the wall at the station feel like when your in cuffs.
He's a hero to the people who have to watch their quads be stolen for touching the kings pavement.
He's a hero to people who watched their friends succumb to drug addiction while friends of law enforcement brought it in by the truck load.

Thankfully cops out west aren't fuckheads like the ones out east, so we put up blue ribbon for them instead of celebrating their deaths

We're in an environment where over half of all crimes go unsolved, including/especially killing, and at least those killings the people killed were the exact specific person somebody was out to kill, not random bs and most don't get caught. Meanwhile all the sperg shooters instacaught/dead/suicide, targeting random nobodies. lame as fuck.
