interesting post desu, the republicans were the ones that wanted to compromise with the east while the democrats wanted total attrition war with russia.
Expect the iran israel war to resume khamenei to get rekt, the usa is going to arm ukraine and may even put pressure on Israel to start doing it after years of neutrality there, may even make nato stronger and get nato troops in ukraine.
Worrying, because it means the republicans are going to go crazy now making the neocons look like pacifists, it would not be above trump to start to boycot international trade by attacking russian fertilizer shipments to brasil to make food prices go parabolic and put pressure on china and russia since eurasian nations would be fucked by this.

You are correct that the path is a destructive one, but so was the usa in 1930 and it emerged in 1945 as the world only superpower, high inflation and chaos can actually be bullish if debt to gdp rates become smaller and industrial capacity grows because companies prefer to get real physical investments rather than stock buybacks.
And with shale gas the usa can reindustrialize, not sure about europe tough.

Russia military is a joke, the russian state is not a joke.
China military and government is a serious threat the only reason they have not done any imperial movement is because they need to have a currency to trade internationally or else suffer the triffin dilemma as the usa has been suffering since 1971, china rather choose internal stability the last years, but these geopolitical movements combined with the fact that they are testing a lunar module that can only be lifted on a saturn v tier rocket means they are going to take a chance to remove the us hegemony in a cultural and geopolitical blitz.
