Christianity is a very big religion so naturally you'll have a lot of people saying a lot of things. I meet many people who claim to be Christian and simply aren't; they've genuinely never read the bible, been to church, or know any actual values of their religion at all let alone practice them. I also know a lot of Christians who do actually do all of that shit and they're still awful horrible people. Then there's backsliding Christians, cult-like ones, etc.
I do not agree with Christianity as a faith for reasons that would be too long to discuss, they are very intellectual and heady and require an understanding of CCRU and Forgotten Languages, and similar topics. That said, there are extremely intelligent Christians and I say this is despite their faith. I try not to ever judge people harshly if at all, it's more of an observation from a standard social perspective.
I don't believe morality, intelligence, or value in someone is decided by their religion or culture. It more has to do with their genetics and caste, but I think ultimately it is about time and place; some people are in the right place at the right time enough to get a leg up on things while others aren't; one sperm gets to be the baby and the rest weren't fast enough. Doesn't make them good or bad sperm, they just weren't the first.
Personally my favorite Christian people are usually orthodox or militia-style Mormons.
