Can someone explain to me what's even the big deal about population declines? People won't shut up about it and fear monger the same way they did with global warming a decade ago but I've yet to hear any reason why it's supposed to be scary. Why DO we need infinity jeets and muslim hordes to maintain growth?

If you've taken even one class of ecology you'll know it's perfectly natural for populations to fluctuate to accommodate resources, environmental factors and even sociological ones. It'll balance out. Worst case scenario is we'll end up having smaller countries and regress back to feudalism which is honestly an improvement over the current status quo. We don't need shitskin rapists to "survive".

Eternal growth is logically impossible, but it's not like these stupid motherfuckers care. They will cut any corner, break and twist any law and betray their own mother, just for more profits.

from an economics perspective, there may not be a huge problem. there will be some teething issues, yes. and years of some hardship. but ultimately, the supply/demand, cost/benefit of government services etc balances out somewhat.
The problem emerges for the owners of the means of production who require more and more consumers to fuel their greed and fill their pockets.
Imagine if the capital owners had to fight each other, instead of exploiting us plebs. that'd be horrid.

Whole retirement system is based on that the working age people will pop out next generation tax payers that will then fund their parents retirement paychecks. With no kids, in 30-40 years there will be no balance between working age people and reitred people, which will either result in old people dying on the streets or states showering retirement system with billions each year to keep it functional and decrease economic growth. Also, the whole capitalistic model is based on endless growth, but with no kids = no workers = no consumers = economic downfall.

it's not even the traditional capitalist class that gets affected. The industrialists and agricultural bourgeoise can adapt with the application of technology and science. It's the subhuman scourge that live off of finance, real estate anf insurance that lose out bigly with population decline.
