Even in such a case, things would still ultimately suck, just less than they do now. The product, nature/biology/matter/physical energy, sucks, fundamentally. The only cure is to end the production, id we really want to be honest.

I agree, at least for a very long time. And even at our most advanced social/biological state, we'd still be nearly as far from perfection as we are now in our good days. But is the path to get there really in vain? I'm not so sure. Maybe it's a cope to decide either way.
