If there are world leaders and prominent industry leaders etc. incriminated in those files, releasing it publicly would cause unrest on an international scale and potentially destabilize the world on a level that would cause more harm than good.

That's probably the strongest argument I can think of that doesn't involve self interest from Trump.

Even if releasing it gets you closer to "justice", it's not worth much if the whole world goes to shit.

It is likely that not 100 percent of the government is corrupted or blackmailed by this specific avenue. Of course a wise ruler has multiple strategies, there are likely multiple Epsteins and likely other approaches as well.
I don't think it is important from a morality standpoint that these people are exposed and removed from power. The reason I want them removed is because they are blackmailed by our enemies specifically and used to undermine us.
I can accept that the world is full of corrupt people and that we are ruled by corrupt people. I believe that the majority of the human population is corrupt by the strict numbers so this result isn't that surprising. I just want our corrupt oligarchs to be looking out for our group even if only because we are their meal ticket. This is one of the main advantages of a monarchy, the king wishes to preserve his property (the country) so that his children can have it afterwards.
