Therefore Marxists have a different position on the value of work under the Capitalism system and don't think it's a virtue to be a slave. That's what Frederich Engels was for. Since his family owned factories, alot of the accounting was used for empirical sources on how capitalism functioned.

What else you have to remember is that what everyone took to mean by "capitalism" was industrial production.

What Adam smith and Karl Marx didnt see coming was the banking sector completely overshadowing all the progress from feudalism that Capitalism achieved. What most people thought was coming was some kind of socialism.
