Suicide rates among transgender people is astonishingly high. Wouldn't becoming transgender solve the mental health issues that cause a person to kill themselves? What if the transgenders who suicide do so because they realize the path they committed themselves to was a malicious lie?

Perhaps the solution to the transgender suicide crisis is to take them off hormone therapy and start them on antipsychotics and going to church/bible study? I am recommending the latter because suicide is ultimately a moral problem that must be rectified by educating people on the purpose of their existence and the absolute nature of good and evil.

Transitioning itself is already form of suicide, you are killing your old identity to pursue a new one. Anyone who is so willing to throw away their old identity is probably doesn't like their old identity, and is probably filled with self-hatred and insecurities. Someone who would consider transitioning is only a few steps away from (actual) suicide, and the transition is like a last-ditch-effort at life.

Furthermore, I believe MtF are 'failed men', and transitioning for them is a grift to gain access to woman while appearing non-threatening. I believe FtM are woman who had some sort of negative sexual experience and transition as a dramatic reaction.

I never understood this kind of self-loathing.. why can't you see beauty and joy in simple things like bird song, the sun coming up or your kids laughing.. I was told it was me that killed her for being an asshole teenage kid, as most teenagers are. And then years later he dies, and I'm not even mentioned in his obituary. Like he never even raised me. After a while, usually post 30, the illusion can no longer be maintained. They were hoping to escape themselves, but in most cases the grass isn't any greener and the disappointment and regret starts to creep in, and there is nothing more expensive than regret. They're deeply unhappy with themselves and the Internet convinces them it's because they were born the "wrong" gender. They obsess and obsess over it (OCD is almost ubiquitous amongst trannys) and convince themselves that if they can just correct this "mistake" and become the woman/man they "were always meant to be", they would feel differently and better and the unhappiness they feel about themselves would dissipate. Then they "transition" and not only did those feelings not dissipate (nothing at all happened on the inside), they got worse as the people around them start acting differently towards them, and even the ones who are trying to be supportive can't hide it. Deep down they themselves know they look ridiculous and if they've had any surgery etc then it's permenant. This is the reality and this is the cost of society outrageously deciding to affirm the delusions of the mentally ill rather than treating the underlying depression and OCD.
Our grandchildren will look at "gender affirming treatment" the same way we look at orbital lobotomies now.

"gender dysphoria" appears to be a subset of depersonalization/derealization.

The main selling point in gender affirmative care is that it prevents suicide. That's why teachers push so hard for it, their empathy for children is hijacked and they think they're saving them.

Come to find out that depersonalization/derealization remains after transition with the added burden of medical bills, butchered private parts and the cold realization that most of society won't accept them as they've been told.
