They change religion to Christianity to escape the caste system, many of them have told me that (because I'll ask them like why is your last name 'Abraham', that doesn't sound like a Hindu name). Which means that the ones doing that are often browner (and have more of that nigger tier genetics). But a lot of them, including the ones that don't convert, still change their name anyway, because: they want to make it more difficult for people to find their past (history of scams) and also when they apply for jobs here if someone sees a typical Indian name they just throw it out. So they see it as a way to "get their foot in the door". Also makes their nepotism less obvious on paper, I worked at a place that had a remote Indian (from offshore) legally change his name to "John Symthe", got the IT team to change his name in the system because he was getting a lot of negative reports and wanted to coast for a little while longer before getting fired. Whatever the cost of changing the name, it was worth it for him, they can just bribe some official there if they need it done fast.
