Pretty much. I don't fully agree with every thing Hitler did, but like he was on a good track for the most part. People (((were told))) that he invaded Poland for shits and giggles. Most soldiers thought he wanted to take control over Europe and make his nationality the only one.
To me it looks more like he wanted to restore Germany as a power house and respect the other nationalities of people. He didn't tell Italy, for instance, "You must be like Germans, you inferior beings!" He respected their ways. I think he even gave muslims who served in the Wehrmacht something with the Quran on it.
"Hitler bad" has just been codified into the West as law, at this point. He wasn't a perfect man by any means, but he certainly wasn't the devil he is made out to be.
