Still feasible. The math I have seen has placed constructing a ring at about the square footage cost of building a highrise in New York, insane but not impossible. Thanks to space ex we are only about a decade behind where we would be, Musk bought reusable rocket tech patents from the 90's and he is driving the cost low enough to make construction commercially feasible. Now it just has to become common place enough that engineering kinks are worked out around zero g work and heat displacement in a vacuum.
