You ever read about Polycarp's Martyrdom?
It's not hard to find mention of it, but it's hard to the actual account. It's not on the Wikipedia.
>ancient christian father hiding on the outskirts of rome
>the friend of a kid of one of the people giving him refuge rats him out for a reward
>he goes willingly
>romans play good cop bad cop
>try to say, just sacrifice some animal to caesar, it can be a small one even
>won't do it
>they put him in a carriage and start the journey to the palace
>"bad cop" roman pushes him out of the carriage, breaks his hip
>Polycarp, the CHAD SAINT DOCTOR MARTYR just shrugs it off, gets back into the carriage
>they arrive, he is sentenced to be BURNED in the CIRCUS MAXIMUS
>but... there's no wood, they just had a mock naval battle and nothing burnable is there, not even animal straw
>the crowd at the Circus Maximus, many of whom are JEWS, RUSH to the surrounding shops and gather up firewood!
>they try to light him on fire
>the wood... won't burn!
>so they stab him
>he dies and a sweet smell is emitted
>fire still won't burn, followers take him away
it's amazing

Polycarp of Smyrna was one of thr most interesting early Christians for sure. Wasn't he a student of Ignatius, who was student of John?

Judaism died when Christ was crucified on Calvary. It was reborn in Babylon 700 years later when the Talmud was written alongside the Quran as rabbinical Judaism. Christianity is antithetical to rabbinical Judaism, all it's believers are atheists at heart. The only core central tenet of Judaism is that you must have a seething hatred for Christ Jesus at the core of your being. By that metric there are several judeo-atheists in this thread, probably even circumcised.

Completely made up to make your jewish tale appear less kiked. Kys
The rest is just pure phantasy which I won't deign with a serious reply. "Christian persecution" is mostly a myth anyway, and was invented by later christians to justify their subversion of the Roman state.

When asked to renounce Christ he famously responded, "Eighty-six years I have served him, and he has done me no wrong. How can I blaspheme my King and my Savior?"
He then looked to heaven and prayed, "Father, I bless you that you have counted me worthy of this day and hour, that I might take a portion of the martyrs in the cup of Christ."

What about the martyr who is burned in a bronze bull at the circus maximus and doesn't feel pain. Then comes out unharmed and everyone coverts on the spot. Oh wait that was from the apocryphal no wonder all these stories of martyrs seem to be bad copies of each other. Did you know that like half the Apostles were crucified upside down like Peter and for similar reasons too.

Peter was probably real. The events of his story line up with real archeology and the Vatican hill was a place of execution and burial long before he came around. Nero loved to kill people in his circus. 95% of the martyrdom stories are complete bullshit though.

Just the things I already pointed out. Unlike most of the martyr myths Peter’s story actually lines up with archeology and other things about the Vatican hill that we know to be true. There’s a decent chance he was actually put to death there. Very few Christian’s were executed by the Romans. They mostly didn’t care about Christian’s. Peter situation however was unique

Mate, you're getting distracted. The Peter martyrdom story is completely fake. It seems to "agree with architecture" because the story was written after that architecture was constructed.
FFS They could have written that Peter had been entombed at the Washington Memorial, and it wouldn't be any less fake than it actually is.

Very powerful martyrdom story. I respect Christians as believers as a Muslim. The Koran says Christians are believers. It is a sad state to see so much open hatred towards God believers, not unlike Christians in that time. God help us through these dark times. A believer is always better than a disbeliever (kafir).

Nero’s circus was on the Vatican hill and we know he liked to execute people in that stadium. There is a very old Christian cemetery right next to it. Christian’s venerated the hill for hundreds of years before Constantine. That is the evidence I’m pointing to that suggests there is an element of truth to the Peter story. Doesn’t mean it’s guaranteed to be true just that it’s a possibility. That’s all I’ve got for you
