"Quits" in construction refers to workers voluntarily leaving their jobs

Thank God. A Recession means lower prices and affordable goods and services again. Bring it on. The only ones losing their jobs will be DEI women and troons, nothing of value will be lost.

It turns out, when you crush anything done in the real world with tariffs, all the money goes into financial products and software.

Good job, retards.

It's because they had a long established plan to move some production to Mexico, retard. One they're going to regret.

for years our internal economists based everything on builds when it came to AOP and KPI's. They stopped doing that in early covid days. its referenced, but not a huge part of our strategy like it used to be

I'm Deere adjacent, they aren't the only ones building in Mexico, difference is we didn't lay off. In fact, we are hiring. Machine sales are down across the industry however and there is a surplus of inventory on the ground. Dealers, especially AG, don't have the floorplan dollars to sit on million dollar tractors once JD finance starts charging interest at 6 months and demand payment at 12. The industry went from a 2 year backlog to 12+ months on hand

This, you don't just pop of a manufacturing facility. It takes years of planning before they even break ground.
