Everything is normal in Chicago. Hey, you can't have a big city without... crime. Do any normal people or non-blacks live in these areas or are they all just professional criminals and murderers?

I've lived in Chicago for 14 years. It is unironically one of the most segregated places in the entire world. The north side is full of lily white starbucks drinking people, the south and west sides are actual swaths of wasteland ghetto. My favorite place is the west suburbs like Oak Park (60% white), which is right next to Austin (99% black), separated by only a street. You cross this street and it's like you're in a different country.

I've been to the South before and it's nowhere near as segregated

Oak Park used to be better at holding the line, but they've been getting overrun. 20 years ago you could drive down austin at any time of the day or night and see cops arresting blacks for just thinking about crossing that street. Now its like they have just accepted their fate. Super liberal there too of course. The best burbs are a bit further west. Wheaton is pol's ideal town. Its like 99% white still and there are like 3 churches per person there.
