The Abyss Awaits
Everyone alive today will witness one of the most horrible times to be alive in human history. Birth rates collapsed world wide and with them the economies of the world. The good times created by the baby boom will contrast harshly with the baby bust. No amount of return to tradition can fix this when mens sperm count and overall fertility has dropped by more than 50% in the past 50 years. For women, the average child per women globally has fallen by more than 50% in the past 50 years however it is claimed that it is not their general fertility that is responsible, and yet.... i have my doubts. I do not doubt that I will see the slow whimpering out of a species who just a generation ago thought it would be conquering the stars.
To me, it appears as though we are currently in the eye of the storm. To some it may seem calm, but there has already been great destruction caused by this storm behind us, and after this eye passes will be the beginning of the end and the death. What will come out of this and be born in the aftermath will not be human. The end which happens could have many outcomes but it is here and it is overarching and cannot be stopped. Its not about prevention anymore, its about surviving what is to come. A darkness bleaker than old night.
