My ex is a psychologist and I had the misfortune to meet a lot of her peers over the years. The typical female psychologist I met had at least one cluster B disorder, histrionic, narcissistic, or straight up borderline like my gf. I had several of her friends blatantly hit on me, grown women acting like highschool mean girls, just severely emotionally unstable all in all. I heard stories of her colleagues neglecting established boundaries one even falling in love with a patient. My gf had an old Jewish Yankee as patient and she treated him like her grandpa, completely unprofessional and childish. One of her peers during their last stretch of education found out she is autistic, think about it, a person with a disorder that is defined by a lack of empathetic skills like theory of mind has no problem going through years of education up to the point where she is allowed to tell sick people how to change their lives. A fucking autist pushing 30 not even able to self diagnose despite years of learning psychology, holy fuck. It's madness, the blind leading the blind. You cannot believe how fucked in the head these people are, it's unbelievable to me these delusional hacks get paid to fuck with the mental health of the unsuspecting populace.
The guys were either depressed or narcissistic so if you really need help go look for a dude, your chances of not getting your life ruined are substantially better.
