no, but we didn't actually nuke them we faked it. the Japs surrendered after the Soviet army invaded Manchuria and beat they ass. 99% of Americans have no idea this happened. The "nukes" were dropped a couple days later - it was a warning/threat to the SOVIETS.

the atomic bomb was in progress but probably not finished until a year or two later
