Among most reform Jews at least, the ADL is recognized as a Zionist organization that exists to protect the extremists in New York and Israel, and actively tries to make life worse for the Jews who aren't in those groups because we're seen as the "race traitors" for not supporting the Greater Israel project.
You'll notice that in almost every US election the majority of the Jewish vote does not support who the ADL says to suppprt except in places where AIPAC owns both candidates anyway. This is part of why they tend not to talk about the Jewish voting demographics in the US.
