My small town had a severe labor shortage for years. Then the migrants flooded in under the Biden administration. Now they're gone and my town is all White again, but for some reason the jobs are also gone. My job went from "work as much as you want" to "we already have help through August 15th, we only have part-time hours for you and overtime is completely prohibited". This is the first year I haven't gotten a raise since I started working here in 2019.

Supermarket starting wages went from $11 per hour in 2019 up to $19 per hour in 2023. Now they're steady at $17 per hour. $17 per hour buys the same groceries that $11 per hour bought in 2019. It fucking sucks.

Minimum wage was never intended to be the primary income for an entire household. Minimum wage was created to stop the proliferation of sweatshops that were taking advantage of women and children who were trying to earn a secondary income in addition to the primary breadwinner's income.
Someone made that chart because if you account for inflation, you will see that minimum wage has never paid more than the equivalent of less than $15 today. So they tried to obfuscate that fact by trying to convert minimum wage to the equivalent amount of gold or median house prices.
Converting minimum wage to gold is non-sensical because it wasn't legal for US citizens to even own gold until after 1971. The "official" price of gold was completely artificial and fake before then. After ordinary people were allowed to buy gold, the price rapidly increased from that artificial low price to significantly higher market prices, so it is obvious that comparing it to minimum wage would make it seem like minimum wage had significantly decreased.
Converting minimum wage to median house prices is also nonsensical because the median house today is significantly larger and has more amenities than the median houses of the past.
