I think you might be surprised at how difficult this is for the vast majority of people. Conversely, when you've got just the slightest bit of confidence and gumption, it's incredibly easy to get hired just about anywhere.

issue is that the IT job market is filled with jeets and people that fake their background, you can say you use linux while never even written a single command line, add the fact that even the shittiest low tier positions now get 100s of applications, in order to understand if you are actually knowlegeable some developer will ask you stuff like
