It might seem absurd, but zionists genuinely want to antagonize jews globally so that jews are cornered and are forced to support them. But there is, of course, a majority of israeli politicians who are actually convicted jews who genuinely believe in the end of the world nonsense. Also, jewish exceptionalism is not really that wrong. Think of indian exceptionalism. Indians are very proud of how many of them are CEOs and high-ranking politicians worldwide. The same goes to jews. You might call them nepotistic, but their attitude just works.
