Lyme disease is going to cause the collapse of the Americas. Its been growing steadily exponentially for 30 years. Hasn't been a big deal because the beginning of the exponential is relatively flat. But we are approaching the explosion portion of the curve. By 2040, Lyme disease will be full on apocalyptic across North America.

When I moved out of the Northeast, I specifically moved to a tick free zone. I know too many people that Lyme Disease has hurt.
