This is a shit brainlet take, though. Agnosticism is the in-between step for people who believe in god but also accept that people are fucking retarded. And in my case, I sign off as Christian on everything, despite not really practicing, entirely because the benefits of modern Christian society are so great that it's self-destructive to seek otherwise.

Exactly. I don't necessarily believe or trust modern religious institutions. From my own experience in life it makes sense that science explains the rules that God, which is merely a name, created. I don't really think God intervenes in life. I don't think prayer is anymore than wishful thinking. I believe we have a certain responsibility to create what we want but it is within the laws that something created. I don't claim to know what that creator is and I certainly don't claim that this creator wants us to follow certain rules etc.
I just developed a Philosophy based on what I've experienced first hand, combining a belief in something unexplainable yet recognizing we as humans have a capacity to learn and measure the world we live in.
