New covid variant spreading?
It's all anegdotal, but this week I've heard of multiple cases in two European countries of some non-usual infection (I got it too). It seems to be highly infectious.

Symptoms:
>strong headache
>mild convulsions
>confusion
>shortness of breath
>40oC fever
>extreme fatigue
>joint pain
>dry cough
>NO stiff neck
>sensation of getting "zapped" at random places throughout the body
>sore throat
>NO rash
>covid test was positive
It starts with just a mild sore throat and a mild fever, then after few days it suddenly hits you like a truck when convulsions and confusion start, they last for a few hours, then it's high fever and strong headache for 2 days until it gets better.
Symptoms resemble meningitis but it doesn't fit. Surely seems to affect the nervous system. The people that got sick were healthy, no underlying conditions.

Google searches of new infection spreading only mention chikungunya virus but it completely doesn't match the symptoms.
Covid test was positive, but I remember covid and whatever the fuck this is it's not the good'ol coof. The "Stratus" covid variant also doesn't match the symptoms.
Is there some new coof spreading out there that attacks the nervous system?
