37 yo here. Can confirm, and this is not just a current thing, this has been going on downhill since I remember. At least in Argentina since the 90s

As somebody who was raised deeply catholic and also gullible I always tried to follow Jesus, put the other cheek, seek friendship with the enemy instead of conflict, have compassion, etc...

Pretty much the opposite. The more humane and kind you are, the more cruel people are with you. At least here. I also have a heart surgery and most people knew about it, not even that stopped people from being violent with me, encouraging me to suicide, etc.

I no loner understand what's going on with people. Back then I always justified it all religiously (it's God testing me, it's punishment, karma, etc) but then you realize the utmost evil is never punished. I'm also a victim of psychological abuse at a church institution.

I'm no longer a believer, of course. I'm a shut in nowadays who only takes care of his business and my parents. When they die I'm killing myself. I see no light in the future

It's not my idea to put you youngsters down, just sharing briefly my take to let you know you're not alone. This world is definitely insane and it's been going on for a long time

I was an almost militant atheist until age 27, then I started to research and read the bible and now I am a believer in my 30s.
The logic is simple, if so many people are so straight up evil (which can only exist in a moral, ergo religious, mainframe), then there has to be an ultimate good.
The bible also directly prepares you for exactly this kind of reaction, nowhere in the OT or NT it says that if you behave like a morally good person, or in the case of the NT like Jesus, that you will receive any kind of kindness towards you from other people, in fact Christ directly tells you "If the world hates you, realize that it hated me first", so God himself basically says to you "A large bunch of people will just be assholes towards you, no matter what you do, pearls before swine".
It gave me honestly an inner peace I never had before, I stopped asking myself "What did I wrong" and just accepted that people mostly are, God gave us free will and unfortunately, it has massive negative consequences.

Ever since the covid hoax I stopped interacting with the goyim cattle. I just look through them and pretend they don't exist. I don't even greet them or acknowledge their presence. I'm not staring either, I'm just looking straight through them as if they weren't there.

The more you study apes and animal behavior in general the more you realize why humans are like this. IMO people were always evil except back then a lot of stuff was thrown under the table or since people were more limited they had no reason to be like they are today
