Years ago, there was a study released that linked vaccines to the increase in autism. The study was flawed and the author redacted it, but it was already out there. People were noticing the increase in autism and needed something to blame. And it was all they had.

But we already know the cause of childhood developmental disorders. The increase isn’t because of vaccines. It’s because of parental age at first birth. It’s even more strongly tied to paternal age. People are having kids later in life, so we’re seeing an increase in developmental disorders.

This isn’t new. We’ve known this for decades. But we can’t point it out. To do so would be to place blame solely on women. They’re the arbiters of childbirth. “My body, my choice” is ingrained in the Western psyche. There’s no vehicle to blame women. It simply doesn’t exist in our society, ever. So people grasped at whatever they could.

You shouldn’t have such a strong opinion about things that you’re not well-informed about. Vaccines are dangerous and the evidence overwhelmingly supports that position. There is scientific consensus on the matter, just not political consensus. Do you trust the actual science or do you trust authorities instead?

Here’s a good one to start with. These are experts in their fields who demonstrate that the FDA’s cherry-picked studies that purportedly prove vaccine safety were very poorly-designed studies that don’t agree with higher-quality studies, and the authors suggest that those studies were poorly-designed on purpose in order to give the answer that was desired.

Next, look up how the FDA did an internal study to prove that the Hep B vaccine was safe (since the public was discovering all kinds of side effects) and then never released the results until a decade later when forced to under FOIA and it was discovered that it was a very dangerous vaccine. This is public info now, so to take the position that being anti-vax is low IQ is not defendable. There are hundreds of other good studies. If you want to read some more start reading about thimerosal. They say they don’t use it anymore but they essentially still do.
