They're also doing shit to incorporate these asset management people into 401k so that 401k people are left holding the bag after they get rug pulled.

Because stock gains are 100% inflationary when compared to the M2. This is also true for crypto like Bitcoin once financial institutions jumped aboard and started treating it like any other currency. Gold/Silver have been suppressed to make the USD look good, but now with all the uncertainty in the market and the abuse of the fiat, central bankers are gobbling up gold and silver. Particularly when Gold became a tier one asset. There is also arbitrage since the East values Gold/Silver higher than the Western markets. Welcome to the great reset, they are already trying to back the USD with stable coins which are linked to US treasuries.

Boomer rocks have no counter-party risk. Gold is not a promise to pay, it is payment. Everything else--stonks, bonds, paper money, crypto... its all based on the hope that the person who promised to pay you doesn't just rug pull you and leave you with nothing. Absent a high trust society, credit has no value.

Gold is the last safe place to invest when we are talking about larger assets. Downward turn has started thanks to the orange retard flipflopping on tariffs and creating uncertainty in the markets.

The value of gold does not increase, the value of the fiat decreases. Gold prices are a very good indicator of real inflation rates. But yes, you can buy the shiny rock with paper. For now at least.

Indeed! And stable coins are just another attempt to blow a bubble as the crypto bubble nears its endpoint. A sponge to soak up liquidity. The name of the game at any casino is to keep the suckers at the tables. If you win 6 gorillion dollars from the casino, they don't actually lose any money until you cash out. You can have all the money in the world in your account on Wall Street and they don't care. It isn't until you take possession of your money and buy real stuff--gold, farmland, whatever--that your gains and their losses become real.

Value is a function of scarcity, demand, and resources required to extract, refine, or produce. Fiat can be created endlessly with almost no input costs so that's easy to understand. Businesses grew dependant on cheap capital and 3rd world labor keeping their input costs low. Input costs have increased without an increase in demand so those businesses are collapsing under the weight of all of the leverage they have been operating under. Markets track the shitty business performance. Boomer rocks still have high input costs, they are effectively finite, and there is always demand for them both in industrial usage, luxury goods, and as a store of value. Boomer rocks are never crashing until we find a cheap way to synthesize them.

Maybe look at history instead of asking stupid questions like as soon as we went into Iraq after 9/11 gold broke a new high I'll look what it's doing now I'll probably hit 4,000 we'll go to war with Venezuela
