Gotta pay for good art. Always the case, but there's another reason too:
disposable junk shrank the used market. You used to be able to get nice things secondhand, but now even rich people just buy chinkshit so the estate sale market is priced high. Funny thing is it's easier than ever to produce good things, but people are mostly broke or cheap and our brains don't work well when we see:
- quality item $100.00
- chinkshit $23.95
