The only issue is inflation in some goods, mainly real estate. Those that already owned apartments in city centers are making bank.

The issue is army money of course, it overheats the real estate market. Most guys that sign up are from rural villages and get a fat stack of money as a bonus, so the "logical" choice is to park it at an apartment in the oblast capital to be safe, his family can rent it and have income even if he dies etc. Except everyone thinks the same as well so it spiked prices. But new constructions take the edge off.

they had a ton of cheap mortgages to boost housing spending for several years. then they realized a bunch of people were taking out second mortgages as investment properties because they didn't have enough sense to limit it. so they canceled the cheap mortgages and are now letting it shake out.

Russia's economic boom is mostly because the sanctions essentially banned a ton of foreign competition that opened up - along with new govt policies - a ton of viable industries for domestic. also a ton of money that was parked overseas went back to Russia so it didn't get stolen by the filthy Globohomo jews.

They still get most of their crap from overseas using third countries to import it. Get more Chinese made crap too.
