Don't shop at that store. They sell your data. And clearly they have raised the price of that jar by a dollar (30%) to penalize those who don't have $15 to buy several months of pasta sauce.

I just saw that at a store too saying to get 5 liter bottles of V8. Who the fuck is drinking 5 bottles of V8 in enough time for them not to expire? We're all single shopping for ourselves lmao. This has got to be some new globalist bullshit. They really thought we'd fall for that as a good deal. I'm gonna start stealing.

Sauce jars last for years. You're not talking about a product that's going to spoil anytime soon. Are you retarded?

these kinds of tactics actually work on women though, so sadly they will keep being used. I remember my mom would buy stupid shit no one in the house wanted or needed because "it was on sale".
It creates this urgency where they feel like they need this deal right now or they'll miss out. I never could get her to understand that she wasn't saving money, but wasting it by doing this. because maybe we use 2 out of 5, then the other 3 end up being thrown away when it goes bad. at that point its cheaper to just buy what you want, and the amount you need only.

They had moldy old blueberries put out as soon as you walk into the supermarket the other day. Buy 2 get 1 free, shit was tight.

>buy 5 jars for the price of 3
Getting a 40% discount is pretty good nigger. Either make a big fucking batch and put some in the freezer, or keep the extra jars in the cupboard as backstock.

It's 5 jars of spaghetti sauce which have a 5+ year shelf life if unopened (probably honestly longer). It's not 5 hat racks, it isn't 5 slap bracelets, it's not 5 dozen roses. If someone is considering buying one of them, that probably means they use the things, and so given that the products aren't going to expire for a long, long time, it's just not the same as what you describe. $2.50 for a jar of Bertolli is okay, but it's definitely low tier.
